Hey GoodDollar Community!
First of all, I’d like to thank all of you who indicated your interest in becoming part of the GoodDollar Governance Steering Committee (GSC), as introduced in this post. It’s really great to kickstart this governance redesign process with so much participation and interest from the wider community.
With that being said, I’d like to present the members of GoodDollar’s first GSC:

- @TerezaBB (Funding the Commons)
- @Meri_Fernandez (GoodLabs)
Each participant was chosen based on their close relationship with GoodDollar and prior experience within crypto and decentralized governance. I strongly believe this committee sets the foundation for a more structured, more effective GoodDollar governance system moving forward!
Over the next week, the GSC will meet for the first time, with the following on the agenda:
- Drafting a committee mandate that includes the roles, responsibilities, and initial term of the GSC
- Setting a governance roadmap that takes us to the beginning of 2026
- Organizing a collaborative governance redesign campaign (soon™)
As will be normal practice moving forward, the GSC will publish its minutes publicly to the forum following each committee call.
